What is Norton 360 Premium?

Norton 360 Premium is a comprehensive security suite from Norton for up to 10 devices. Compared to Norton 360 Deluxe, you protect more devices (10 instead of 5) and get more storage space (75 GB instead of 50 GB Cloud Backup). Compared to Norton 360 Advanced, you miss out on three specific features: identity restoration support, help after a stolen wallet and Social Media Monitoring, and you get 75 GB instead of 200 GB Cloud Backup. Otherwise, the protection is identical.

Our first impression

We tested Norton 360 Premium in July 2026 on a Windows laptop and an iPhone. Activation and installation went smoothly: the software itself detected conflicting programmes on our laptop and indicated what we needed to remove first. Within a few steps, everything was ready, from a single clear dashboard.

What stood out to us during use?

• The dashboard shows the status of all your linked devices at a glance, handy if you're protecting several PCs, phones and tablets across multiple family members.

• The VPN is already built into the programme on your laptop, so you don't need a separate VPN app.

With four restriction levels based on age, you set up web supervision, time and location supervision, app and search supervision, school time settings, video supervision and activity reports.
• Dark Web Monitoring / identity protection: Stolen data such as passwords and credit card numbers is often traded on the dark web, without you knowing until damage has already been done. You choose which personal data is monitored yourself. If your data is found on the dark web, you'll see where, which data has been exposed and what steps you can take to limit the risk.
• Protection against scams: Scams via text message, email and fake websites are becoming increasingly sophisticated and aren't always easy to spot. AI-driven scam detection via Safe Web (web pages) and Safe SMS (text messages) helps identify these, supplemented by AI assistant Genie so you can check suspicious messages yourself.
• Cloud Backup: A crash, ransomware attack or stolen laptop can mean losing all your files and photos. With 75 GB of encrypted, automatic Cloud Backup of your PC, you prevent this and can always fall back on your backup.
• Password management: Weak or reused passwords make it easier for attackers to gain access to multiple of your accounts. Password management stores your passwords in an encrypted vault in the cloud, so you can use a strong, unique password for every account.
• Performance improvement: Outdated software and a full disk slow down your PC. The software updater, file cleanup, disk optimisation and startup manager keep your PC running smoothly.
• SafeCam: Hackers can remotely gain access to your webcam or microphone and listen in or watch you without you noticing. SafeCam protects your PC's webcam and microphone against remote access.

Who is Norton 360 Premium suitable for?

Norton 360 Premium is the right choice for households and families, home users, sole traders and freelancers who want to protect up to 10 devices but don't need the extra features of identity restoration support, help after a stolen wallet or Social Media Monitoring that you do get with Norton 360 Advanced.

Who is it less suitable for?

Want to protect fewer than 10 devices and don't attach much value to the difference between 50 and 75 GB Cloud Backup? Then Norton 360 Deluxe will also suffice: the same protection, for 5 devices with 50 GB Cloud Backup. Do you want maximum protection instead, including identity restoration, help after a stolen wallet and Social Media Monitoring? Then Norton 360 Advanced is the better choice.
