How to turn off your Norton automatic renewal

Do you not want to automatically renew via Norton? Then disable Norton's automatic renewal and also remove the payment details if necessary. Turning it off ensures that Norton will no longer charge for protection, but it also directly ensures that you have to make sure you have an active licence yourself. The protection stops without a licence.

Important: After disabling automatic renewal, it is important to buy a new licence yourself to continue protecting your devices. Choose a one-off annual Norton subscription, these licences do not have automatic renewal. You can order the one-off annual subscriptions on the following pages: Norton 360 Standard, Norton 360 Deluxe and Norton 360 Premium. Turn on the renew alert to get a reminder when your subscription is about to expire and it is time to renew with a one-off annual subscription.

Follow the steps below to disable automatic renewal.

Go to your Norton account and log in with your Norton account details. Turn off Automatic Renewal by clicking the blue Manage renewal link.

Choose a reason why you disable automatic renewal and then click the Next button.

In this step, Norton makes one more offer. If you are sure you don't want automatic renewal, click the option that you don't want the offer and want to stop your subscription.

Once you've clicked that option, you can click the Next button.

You have now successfully disabled automatic renewal.

With automatic renewal turned off, it is important to buy your own licence so you can continue to protect your devices. For this, Norton sells one-time annual subscriptions.
